Uruguay has often been a hidden secret as far as wing shooting is concerned. The doves came in droves by the thousands offering a shot at any given time. Perdiz were flushed perfectly with easy walks over the beautiful rolling country side. Pointed by impeccable dog work trained by the best local trainer. Ducks were hunted in the rice marshes over a few decoys and worked a spread magnificently. The ducks presented shots with very little regard and were painted with some of the most exquisite colors. Staff was top notch! Accommodations plush and meals superb. Hospitality was first class. I would most certainly recommend Black River outfitters to others. In fact already have and will return most definitely.
Nacho and Juan Pablo run a fantastic outfit at Black River. They were more than accommodating and hospitable. They provided the best locations and hunts. A spectacular experience! The two are very knowledgeable of the hunting grounds and what it takes to put hunters on the birds. They have established a phenomenal organization. They are truly two fine gentlemen that understand what an international hunter expects. They are now friends for life. I am eager to return once again".
